Why We're Here

The Ride with Hal event was created to honor the memory of Christopher F. Hallahan — a passionate rider, a beloved friend, and someone who truly loved being out on two wheels, whether it was on the road, the trails, or the track.

This first year, we’re keeping things simple to build a strong foundation. But the vision for Ride with Hal is much bigger. In the future, we hope to grow this into a multi-day event that celebrates everything Christopher loved — including not just the road ride, but also mountain biking and dirt biking. We'd love to see Ride with Hal evolve into a true riding weekend, possibly even incorporating a relay-style event that brings together all three types of riding in his honor.

The heart of Ride with Hal will always be about more than just the ride itself. It's about community, friendship, and carrying forward Christopher's spirit and passion. It's about making a difference — together.

This event also supports the Christopher F. Hallahan Memorial Fund, helping to keep his memory alive and doing good in the community in his name.
